Terms of Use for LustLock

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LustLock mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using LustLock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About LustLock

LustLock is a faith-based accountability and recovery support app designed to help users build discipline, pursue purity, track progress, journal, receive encouragement, and use device protection tools. LustLock is not a medical, mental health, counseling, or crisis service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use LustLock. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

LustLock may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features. Subscription options, durations, and prices are displayed in the app before purchase.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings. We do not control Apple billing, refunds, or subscription management. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

6. Apple Standard EULA

Where applicable, your use of LustLock is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these Terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the app, use the Service for unlawful purposes, or submit content that is abusive, harassing, illegal, or infringes another person's rights.

8. User Content

You may enter journal entries, check-ins, reflections, prayers, and other content into the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited right to process your content only as needed to provide and improve the Service, operate app features, maintain security, and comply with law.

9. Screen Time and Protection Features

LustLock may use Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to help users limit access to selected apps or websites. These tools depend on Apple permissions, device settings, and operating system behavior. We cannot guarantee that every app, website, or piece of content will be blocked in all situations.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account from within the app where available. Deleting your account may permanently remove account information and app data associated with your account. Some information may be retained where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business records.

11. Privacy

Your use of LustLock is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.

12. No Professional Advice

LustLock provides faith-based encouragement, accountability tools, and self-guided support. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, counseling, emergency support, or professional treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, danger to yourself or others, or a crisis, contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

13. Changes to the Service

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk for other users, or where required by law.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your expectations.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LustLock and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable laws of the state where the operator of LustLock is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
